Help/Mini-Budgets/The 'New Balance' in my mini-budget doesn't match my credit card statement. What do I do?
It is possible that you forgot to add a spending amount for your credit card or you entered an incorrect value in the current credit card spending period. It is also possible that you late fee or services charges were applied to your credit card. These are some of the reasons why the 'New Balance' in your mini-budget doesn't match your credit card statement closing balance.
To make the 'New Balance' value match your credit card statement closing balance click on the 'New Balance' cell that doesn't match (the prior time period, most likely). This will display a bubble with the current 'New Balance' value. Enter your actual credit card statement closing balance and click on the 'Save' button. budgetEDGE will change your 'New Balance' value to match your credit card statement closing balance and will enter an adjustments row on the spending grid to display the difference.
